<p>We&#8217;ve been so busy here on the Moor, but we love busy! I&#8217;m a new bunny here on the Moor named &#8220;Rabbity&#8221;. Since I&#8217;m pretty new I get to play and have fun pretty much all the time.  Since my schedule is pretty free at the moment, they asked me to do a guest posting today.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll tell you a bit about myself. I was  adopted by a little girl who lives here. I heard she had something wonderful called a birthday, and I was her gift! Now she and I go everywhere.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m a very happy Rabbity.</p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Rabbity-watches-at-dinner.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1568" title="Rabbity watches at dinner" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Rabbity-watches-at-dinner-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>I like to sit with the family at dinnertime and talk to my little friend from the safety and comfort of the island in the kitchen <img src='http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I&#8217;m made of wool with cotton patchwork in my ears and on my paws. I also have a bit of oatmeal felted wool on my muzzle. Other Rabbity&#8217;s like me might be made of other materials but I just know they&#8217;ll be cute like me. I&#8217;m wobble jointed and my knees and elbows have a bit of a bend in them. That makes it easy for me to sit and pose in some pretty cute ways. Ok, enough of the boring stuff. <img src='http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/do-you-have-computer-questions-Im-your-rabbit.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1569" title="do you have computer questions-I'm your rabbit" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/do-you-have-computer-questions-Im-your-rabbit-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>I make myself available for any and all computer related questions anybear might have. I feel I&#8217;m rather versed on the subject of comptuers after having a long sit on the big bed for quite a few evenings as I was being completed. I listened very carefully&#8230;..</p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Everybunny-does-their-part.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1570" title="Everybunny does their part" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Everybunny-does-their-part-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>You might want to have a Rabbity around your house. We Rabbities are very helpful. I&#8217;m not sure what this brush is for, but Dad said he&#8217;d be right back to show me how to use it&#8230;.</p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Making-Donuts.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1571" title="Making Donuts" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Making-Donuts-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>The other night I  got to help make a tasty snack of raised orange glazed donuts (I was excited when I saw they were orange thinking they were carrot flavored, but they weren&#8217;t. Hey. Nothing&#8217;s perfect right? And they were still tasty.)</p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/a-bike-that-fits-me.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1572" title="a bike that fits me" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/a-bike-that-fits-me-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Well, I better get going. I have some errands to run (If I can get this thing to start&#8230;hey, where are the pedals?)</p>
<p>Look for more Rabbity&#8217;s like me to hop onto the Moor soon!</p>

<p> </p>
<p>When we lived in the city and our oldest daughter was 2 there was a pleasant little squirrel who decided to adopt our family and greet us each morning  in our yard. I rembered how much fun it was to feed squirrels in my own childhood yard growing up, so we encouraged our new friend&#8217;s visits with tiny peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1496" title="Jamie Acorntree2" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Jamie-Acorntree2-225x300.jpg" alt="Jamie Acorntree2" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Our little daughter named her new found friend &#8220;Whirl the Squirrel&#8221; and delighted her with his visits for a long time.</p>
<p>When I found this beautiful fox fur collar attached to a sweater we were purchasing for another project-I was immediately called back to memories of our dear Whirl.</p>
<p>I started working on a cute little Craggy Squirrel and came up with this adorable pattern.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1497" title="Jamie Acorntree3" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Jamie-Acorntree3-300x225.jpg" alt="Jamie Acorntree3" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>The pretty fox tail was just enough for one for us and one for you!</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1498" title="Jamie Acorntree4" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Jamie-Acorntree4-225x300.jpg" alt="Jamie Acorntree4" width="225" height="300" /> We had to make a &#8220;Whirl&#8221; to live here too of course!</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1499" title="Jamie Acorntree5" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Jamie-Acorntree5-225x300.jpg" alt="Jamie Acorntree5" width="225" height="300" /> We are so excited to share a little squirrel with you that means so much to us. Hurry over to our <a title="Come meet Jamie Acorntree!" href="http://www.thecraggymoorstore.etsy.com" target="_blank">Etsy store</a> because you know how squirrels are-they run away fast!</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1500" title="Jamie Acorntree6" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Jamie-Acorntree6-150x150.jpg" alt="Jamie Acorntree6" width="150" height="150" /></p>
<p>See you there!</p>

<p>Wilber Woolybear bump, bump, bumped down the stairs with his little friend, as she took each step with a jump, jump jump. He giggled a bit, and snugled deeper into the crook of his little friend&#8217;s arm. Every morning was the same-bumping and jumping, then tasting and muching, then blissful running and more jumping outdoors in the warm garden sun. Thus was the life of Wilber Woolybear, and life was indeed very good.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1488" title="Wilber Woolybear2" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Wilber-Woolybear2-225x300.jpg" alt="Wilber Woolybear2" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Wilber is plain and simply the perfect bear friend. He&#8217;s 9 1/2 inches tall(7 inches sitting). Wilber knows he&#8217;s small and loves to sneak into pockets, bags and such to follow you on adventure!</p>
<p>Wilber has an adorable old fashioned bear shape. He&#8217;s made of a beautifully soft, nubbly caramel colored wool. His paw pads are a sweetly coordinating oatmeal felted wool. His sweet nose and smile, as well as his bitty bear claws are hand embroidered with black cotton floss and much love.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1489" title="Wilber Woolybear3" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Wilber-Woolybear3-235x300.jpg" alt="Wilber Woolybear3" width="235" height="300" /></p>
<p>Wilber&#8217;s shining black glass eyes look up at you wistfully, as he tilts his head thoughtfully.</p>
<p>Wilber&#8217;s stuffing is weighted to make him slightly heavy and delightfully &#8220;real&#8221; feeling in your hand.<br />
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1490" title="Wilber Woolybear5" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Wilber-Woolybear5-233x300.jpg" alt="Wilber Woolybear5" width="233" height="300" /><br />
Wilber is one of a kind and individually made, like all our bears here on the Moor. He comes with a card dated and signed by the artist too! He would make a wonderful, original gift for someone you love, or add him to your own collection of treasured bear friends.</p>
<p>Wilber is safe for anyone over the age of 4 (due to small parts) and he would also make a charming old fashioned decoration in a nursery until his friend is old enough to play.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1491" title="Wilber Woolybear4" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Wilber-Woolybear4-225x300.jpg" alt="Wilber Woolybear4" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Handmade is the very best way to say I love you!</p>

<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1430" title="Nubbley Woolbear2" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Nubbley-Woolbear2-225x300.jpg" alt="Nubbley Woolbear2" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Nubbley is 10 1/2 inches tall (7 1/2 inches sitting).</p>
<p>Nubbley Woolbear is a bundle of huggy softness! He&#8217;s made of beautiful oatmeal colored wool blend sweater material. He&#8217;s accented with oatmeal felted wool on his muzzle and paws.<br />
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1431" title="Nubbley Woolbear3" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Nubbley-Woolbear3-225x300.jpg" alt="Nubbley Woolbear3" width="225" height="300" /><br />
Nubbley has a sweet handstitched cotton nose and smile.<br />
He has shining black glass bead eyes.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1432" title="Nubbley Woolbear4" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Nubbley-Woolbear4-225x300.jpg" alt="Nubbley Woolbear4" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Nubbley&#8217;s weighted to make him feel slightly heavy, and pleasingly &#8220;real&#8221; when held and hugged.</p>
<p>We just had to button joint Nubbley because our natural hardwood buttons look beautiful against the color and texture of his wooly fur.</p>
<p>Nubbley would make a soft and comfy friend to you or someone you love over the age of 3. He&#8217;s a collectible, and comes with a card dated and signed by the Artist. He&#8217;s securely made and ready to go on adventures too!</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1433" title="Nubbley Woolbear5" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Nubbley-Woolbear5-225x300.jpg" alt="Nubbley Woolbear5" width="225" height="300" /></p>

<p>He&#8217;s a good listener, and just mooshes into the crook of your arm for a hug. His favorite things to do are share a late night snack and glass of warm milk; or a good book on a rainy day.</p>
<p> <img title="parker woolbear(16)" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/parker-woolbear16-225x300.jpg" alt="parker woolbear(16)" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Parker Woolbear is a 5 Way Jointed soft and wooly bear, and our tallest yet-standing at a respectible 16 inches(9 1/2 inches sitting).</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1425" title="parker woolbear(12)" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/parker-woolbear12-225x300.jpg" alt="parker woolbear(12)" width="225" height="300" /><br />
He&#8217;s made of a special piece of soft and nubbly wool from our limited reserve of extra special bear wools.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1418" title="Parker Woolbear(d)" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Parker-Woolbeard-225x300.jpg" alt="Parker Woolbear(d)" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>We made sure to put all of the wonderful things we love into him as well:</p>
<p>-extra strong steel and hardwood joints made right here on the Moor<br />
-beautiful oatmeal wool felt accents<br />
-handstitched noseose and sweet smile<br />
-glass bead eyes<br />
-weighted stuffing for a nice real feel<br />
-a touch of dry lavender to make him comforting and sweet</p>
<p><img title="Parker Woolbear2" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Parker-Woolbear2-300x225.jpg" alt="Parker Woolbear2" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Parker is wearing a pair of handmade oatmeal colored pants with a fun chunky stripe texture and a royal blue cotton &#8220;run around&#8221; shirt.</p>
<p>Parker poses in so many interesting and realistic ways due to his 5 way jointing.</p>
<p>Parker Woolbear is one of a kind and individually made with much love. He comes with a card dated and signed by the artist too!<br />
He&#8217;d be perfect in your treasure of bear collectibles, or give him as a gift to someone special. Parker is just right for anyone over the age of 6.</p>
<p><img title="Parker Woolbear(c)" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Parker-Woolbearc-225x300.jpg" alt="Parker Woolbear(c)" width="225" height="300" /></p>

<p>**UPDATE! Benny has been adopted! He&#8217;s going to a loving home in MI**</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Bennigan Bearfoot is just passing through he says. He prides himself on being a &#8220;wandering bear&#8221; but its his dream to find just the right home and settle down someday.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1374" title="Bennigan Bearfoot" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Bennigan-Bearfoot-225x300.jpg" alt="Bennigan Bearfoot" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>He wandered onto the Moor today and after a hearty lunch of marmalade sandwiches, asked if we could put up an advertisement for him. Traveling is hard, lonely work. We of course said we&#8217;d help. He&#8217;s a real charmer, full of stories and so friendly, I daresay he won&#8217;t have a problem finding a home at all.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1375" title="Bennigan Bearfoot2" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Bennigan-Bearfoot2-225x300.jpg" alt="Bennigan Bearfoot2" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Bennigan Bearfoot or &#8220;Benny&#8221; to his friends is 11 inches tall. He&#8217;s made of a beautiful chocolate brown wool. He has super soft burn caramel brown cotton velvet accents.</p>
<p>Benny is 5 way jointed with our handmade, extra strong steel and hardwood cotter pin joints. We make the cotter pins ourselves from galvanized steel wire so they aren&#8217;t prone to breakage like store bought cotter pins.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1376" title="Bennigan Bearfoot3" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Bennigan-Bearfoot31-300x225.jpg" alt="Bennigan Bearfoot3" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Benny has shining black stone bead eyes. His sweet nose and smile are lovingly handstitched with black cotton floss.</p>
<p>His stuffing is weighted to make him slightly heavy and so nice to hug and hold. He has a touch of dry lavender in his stuffing to make him smell fresh and comforting like the spring breezes he travels through.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1377" title="Bennigan Bearfoot4" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Bennigan-Bearfoot4-225x300.jpg" alt="Bennigan Bearfoot4" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Benny is wearing an adorable pair of jean shorts, paired with a coordinating plaid cotton vest. He carries a cute little rustic backpack made of soft wheat colored suede.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1378" title="Bennigan Bearfoot5" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Bennigan-Bearfoot5-225x300.jpg" alt="Bennigan Bearfoot5" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Bennigan Bearfoot would make a wonderful gift for someone you love, or add him to your own beary sweet treasures. Benny comes with a card dated and signed by the artist too! He&#8217;s one of a kind, and made with much love.</p>
<p>Benny is safe for everyone over the age of 3 (due to small parts).</p>
<p>Handmade is the very best way to say I love you!<br />
Thank you for visiting!</p>
