<p>We&#8217;ve been so busy here on the Moor, but we love busy! I&#8217;m a new bunny here on the Moor named &#8220;Rabbity&#8221;. Since I&#8217;m pretty new I get to play and have fun pretty much all the time.  Since my schedule is pretty free at the moment, they asked me to do a guest posting today.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll tell you a bit about myself. I was  adopted by a little girl who lives here. I heard she had something wonderful called a birthday, and I was her gift! Now she and I go everywhere.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m a very happy Rabbity.</p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Rabbity-watches-at-dinner.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1568" title="Rabbity watches at dinner" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Rabbity-watches-at-dinner-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>I like to sit with the family at dinnertime and talk to my little friend from the safety and comfort of the island in the kitchen <img src='http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I&#8217;m made of wool with cotton patchwork in my ears and on my paws. I also have a bit of oatmeal felted wool on my muzzle. Other Rabbity&#8217;s like me might be made of other materials but I just know they&#8217;ll be cute like me. I&#8217;m wobble jointed and my knees and elbows have a bit of a bend in them. That makes it easy for me to sit and pose in some pretty cute ways. Ok, enough of the boring stuff. <img src='http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/do-you-have-computer-questions-Im-your-rabbit.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1569" title="do you have computer questions-I'm your rabbit" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/do-you-have-computer-questions-Im-your-rabbit-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>I make myself available for any and all computer related questions anybear might have. I feel I&#8217;m rather versed on the subject of comptuers after having a long sit on the big bed for quite a few evenings as I was being completed. I listened very carefully&#8230;..</p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Everybunny-does-their-part.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1570" title="Everybunny does their part" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Everybunny-does-their-part-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>You might want to have a Rabbity around your house. We Rabbities are very helpful. I&#8217;m not sure what this brush is for, but Dad said he&#8217;d be right back to show me how to use it&#8230;.</p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Making-Donuts.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1571" title="Making Donuts" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Making-Donuts-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>The other night I  got to help make a tasty snack of raised orange glazed donuts (I was excited when I saw they were orange thinking they were carrot flavored, but they weren&#8217;t. Hey. Nothing&#8217;s perfect right? And they were still tasty.)</p>
<p><a href="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/a-bike-that-fits-me.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1572" title="a bike that fits me" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/a-bike-that-fits-me-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Well, I better get going. I have some errands to run (If I can get this thing to start&#8230;hey, where are the pedals?)</p>
<p>Look for more Rabbity&#8217;s like me to hop onto the Moor soon!</p>

<p> </p>
<p>We&#8217;ve been wanting to make an extra special hedgehog toy for children and finally developed a pattern with a pocket so the hedgehog can roll into a ball!</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1132" title="Hedgie blonde2" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Hedgie-blonde2-225x300.jpg" alt="Hedgie blonde2" width="225" height="300" /> <img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1133" title="Hedgie blonde3" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Hedgie-blonde3-150x150.jpg" alt="Hedgie blonde3" width="150" height="150" /> <img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1134" title="Hedgie blonde4" src="http://thecraggymoor.com/craggyblog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Hedgie-blonde4-150x150.jpg" alt="Hedgie blonde4" width="150" height="150" /></p>

<p>We made this set of hedgies out of the softest wool/angora blend we could find, and felted the &#8220;quills&#8221; for texture variation.</p>
<p>Not only is this hedgie a fun toy to roll into a ball, he is fun to toss too! He is just 8 inches tall, but he&#8217;s about 10 inches around-simply adorable and huggy, weighted just a little to make him feel slightly heavy, real feeling, and irresistible to hold.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">Benny is a super soft, incredibly huggable waldorf style black bear cub. He’s 9 inches tall sitting, 12 ½ inches tall from head to toe. He’s made from repurposed (gently cared for here on the Moor) charcoal colored wool sweater material. It has just a touch of angora, just enough to make him irresistible to cuddle! Benny’s paw and ear linings and muzzle are made of equally soft and loveable chocolate brown cotton knit. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">Benny is stuffed with soft, lofty, premium quality hypoallergenic polyester fiberfill so he can be washed in the washer ( tie him in a pillow case, wash in cool water, short wash, fluff to dry). He also has a few double washed pebbles deep within his tummy stuffing to make him pleasingly heavy and “real” feeling.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> <a rel="attachment wp-att-860" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/09/02/benny-bear-is-looking-for-a-friend/benny4/"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-860" title="benny4" src="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/benny4-225x300.jpg" alt="benny4" width="225" height="300" /></a></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">Benny’s sweet face is hand stitched with black cotton floss and much love. He’s completely child friendly, and ready to be the best friend to even the littlest one. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">Benny also has a cute little cranberry colored flannel heart hand stitched on his tummy to add even more to his folk art charm.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">Benny would make a lovely, unique, handmade gift for someone you love, or make him the newest friend for your little one!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">Benny is individually made like all the sweet bear friends here on the Moor, and will come with a card dated and signed by the Artist.</span></p>

<p>Meet Chickory Thistledown! He&#8217;s sweet and soft, and the very first Cotter Pin Collectible for sale here on the Craggy Moor!<br />
Chickory is named after the beautiful delicate blue flowers blooming on the Moor right now. He&#8217;s 10 1/2 inches tall from head to toe, with about 4 inch ears. He&#8217;s made of soft and loveable blue cotton velvet and vintage inspired blue cotton plaid to line his ears and paws. <br />
<a rel="attachment wp-att-775" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/08/18/meet-chickory-thistledown/chickory-thistledown/"></a> <a rel="attachment wp-att-776" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/08/18/meet-chickory-thistledown/chickory-thistledown5/"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-776" title="chickory-thistledown5" src="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/chickory-thistledown5-225x300.jpg" alt="chickory-thistledown5" width="225" height="300" /></a><br />
Our old fashioned cotter pin joints are made of sturdy 1/8 inch thick wood disks, steel cotter pins, and zinc washers.</p>
<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-777" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/08/18/meet-chickory-thistledown/chickory-thistledown3/"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-777" title="chickory-thistledown3" src="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/chickory-thistledown3-225x300.jpg" alt="chickory-thistledown3" width="225" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>They make his arms and legs swing and flop slightly, just like those much loved stuffed animals you might find in Grandma&#8217;s old cedar chest. <br />
<a rel="attachment wp-att-776" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/08/18/meet-chickory-thistledown/chickory-thistledown5/"></a> <a rel="attachment wp-att-774" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/08/18/meet-chickory-thistledown/chickory-thistledown4/"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-774" title="chickory-thistledown4" src="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/chickory-thistledown4-225x300.jpg" alt="chickory-thistledown4" width="225" height="300" /></a><br />
Chickory has a sweet little hand stitched black cotton nose and smile. His eyes are lovely jet shell beads with subtle ribbons of black, blue and smokey grey.</p>
<p>Chickory&#8217;s stuffed with the Craggy Moor&#8217;s favorite stuffing: 100% brand new wool batting, a touch of dry lavender, and a few steel bb&#8217;s deep within his tummy and feet to make him slightly heavy, and pleasingly &#8220;real&#8221; feeling.<br />
<a rel="attachment wp-att-777" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/08/18/meet-chickory-thistledown/chickory-thistledown3/"></a> <a rel="attachment wp-att-775" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/08/18/meet-chickory-thistledown/chickory-thistledown/"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-775" title="chickory-thistledown" src="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/chickory-thistledown-225x300.jpg" alt="chickory-thistledown" width="225" height="300" /></a><br />
Chickory would make an extra special, all natural, collectible gift for someone you know, or add him to your own collection!</p>
<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-777" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/08/18/meet-chickory-thistledown/chickory-thistledown3/"></a></p>
<p>Chickory Thistledown is individually made and comes with his own card dated and signed by the Artist.</p>
<p>Keep watching for Chickory&#8217;s sister Primrose, coming soon!</p>
<p>Handmade is the very best way to say &#8220;I love you&#8221;!</p>
<p>Thank you so much for visiting!</p>

<p>A very shy and thoughtful bunny is looking for someone to love her.</p>
<p>Meet Victoria Scamperfoot! She&#8217;s an adorable little 8 inch button jointed bunny with real old fashioned appeal.</p>
<p><img class="grey_border" src="http://ny-image2.etsy.com/il_430xN.82058350.jpg" alt="Collectible Button Jointed Cashmere Wool blend bunny" width="430" /><br />
Victoria is made of our pretty and soft caramel cashmere/wool blend repurposed material (gently cleaned and cared for). She has whimsically striped cotton knit ear linings, and plum colored corduroy paw pads.</p>
<p>Victoria&#8217;s stuffed with our favorite stuffing: 100% brand new wool batting, a touch of dry lavender and just enough steel bbs deep inside to make her pleasingly heavy and &#8220;real&#8221; feeling in your hand.</p>
<p>Victoria&#8217;s joints are accented with natural, unfinished, smooth wood buttons that add even more to her irresistable &#8220;yesterday&#8221; appearance.</p>
<p><img class="grey_border" src="http://ny-image0.etsy.com/il_430xN.82058436.jpg" alt="Collectible Button Jointed Cashmere Wool blend bunny" width="430" /></p>
<p>Her little face is simply handstitched with cotton floss to give her a quiet, thoughtful look.</p>
<p>Her eyes are antique bronze color czech glass beads securely stitched with cotton floss.<br />
<img class="grey_border" src="http://ny-image3.etsy.com/il_430xN.82058543.jpg" alt="Collectible Button Jointed Cashmere Wool blend bunny" width="430" /><br />
Victoria Scamperfoot is a loveably sweet bunny that would make a wonderful gift or treasure for your own collection. She comes with a card signed and dated by the Artist, and she&#8217;s individually made so you know you are getting a one-of-a-kind friend made especially for you.</p>
<p>Our bunnies are securely made, but contain small parts, so use your discretion when buying for the very young.</p>
<p>Handmade is the very best way to say I love you!<br />
Thank you for visiting!</p>

<p>We are really happy with the new sweater bear design we&#8217;ve developed here recently! We happened upon some really nice velvet, as well as a storehouse of lovely sweater materials, and these lovely fabrics really inspired us to try and make something extra cute.</p>
<p>So we had a &#8220;Teddy Bear Picnic&#8221;!! lol!</p>
<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-633" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/07/24/new-sweater-bear-design/bartley-bearhardtb-2/"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-633" title="bartley-bearhardtb" src="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/bartley-bearhardtb-225x300.jpg" alt="bartley-bearhardtb" width="225" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Our first new design sweater bear was &#8221;Bartley Bearhardt&#8221;. He&#8217;s made of a wonderfully soft black angora sweater material. He was adopted by the wonderful nuns at a Convent in Massachusetts. (They&#8217;ve also given many of our Waldorf softies a good home there too-thank you so much!!!)</p>
<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-635" href="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/2009/07/24/new-sweater-bear-design/barnaby-barnes6/"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-635" title="barnaby-barnes6" src="http://robsclan.com/craggymoor/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/barnaby-barnes6-225x300.jpg" alt="barnaby-barnes6" width="225" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>The next bear to come along was Barnaby Barnes. He went right away to a good home in Alaska (bears love Alaska!).</p>
